Eggs of Prophecy, also unofficially called Prophecy Eggs, are rare mystical eggs added in v1.7.
The message that appears when you collect your first Egg of Prophecy.
The first time an Egg of Prophecy is obtained, a message explaining them appears.
They function as an extra multiplier of your current Soul Eggs, increasing their multiplier by 5% per Egg of Prophecy. They are referred to as 'rare Soul Eggs' in the explanation message. The Epic Research 'Prophecy Bonus' raises the bonus gained by 1% compounding. Since they compound, their multiplier starts growing very quickly once the quantity builds up.
Obtaining
Eggs of Prophecy can be obtained from Contracts, Trophies, and the Daily Gift Calendar. There are a limited supply of Eggs of Prophecy a player can get, and they are missable. This number increases contract by contract, and sometimes by an update.

Compounding
Below, you can see the result of various amounts of prophecy eggs combined with the epic research that improves them from 5% to 10% per egg, but you can always calculate the effect of your prophecy eggs as a multiplier equal to ((105 + Prophecy Bonus)/100)Number of Prophecy Eggs.

Trivia
- If Prophecy Bonus is upgraded before obtaining any Prophecy Eggs, the popup explaining Prophecy Eggs will show the increased bonus instead of the base.
- The best way to earn Prophecy Eggs is to join a contract with other players, so don't be shy!
- Prophecy Bonus is the most expensive first Epic upgrade, as it costs
100,000, twice the cost of buying the hyperloop train station. This means that until your number of prophecy eggs is very large, you are usually better off with Soul Food, then Epic Comfy Nests, then Prophecy Bonus, in that order. - With artifacts, the bonus from Prophecy Eggs can reach up to 12.65% percent!
