Egg, Inc. ULTRA is a monthly subscription announced in July 2023 that provides players with various benefits. The subscription has two tiers: Standard and Pro. ULTRA Standard costs $3.99 USD a month, while ULTRA Pro costs $7.99 USD a month and adds a few additional perks.
ULTRA Standard Benefits[]
According to the in-game text, ULTRA Standard adds the following perks:
- One extra Leggacy Egg of Prophecy Contract per week
- +25% Golden Eggs from Piggy Breaks
- Host 'Any Grade' Co-ops
- Additional exclusive Events
As recent versions of the game have reduced the number of new Eggs of Prophecy that are released, the extra Leggacy Egg of Prophecy can help newer players catch up with old contracts.
The "additional exclusive events" are not documented or described by the developer. However, community members have tracked the ULTRA events and it appears that they occur approximately once every two days. The events are primarily "extra" versions of the normal Events, though there are a few rare unique events such as "uncapped Piggy Bank" that allow players to theoretically amass vast amounts of Golden Eggs.
ULTRA Pro Benefits[]
According to the in-game text, ULTRA Pro adds the following perks:
- All standard benefits
- +40% Golden Eggs from Piggy Breaks (total - not in addition to the +25% from ULTRA Standard)
- No Ads
- Video Gifts become ULTRA Gifts
- Permanent 2x earnings multiplier
The ULTRA gifts come in a larger truck, separate from the regular gifts truck. Aside from the different delivery vehicle, ULTRA gifts contain the same rewards that typically would have been earned by watching ads.
Subscribing to ULTRA[]
ULTRA subscriptions are only available through the in-game shop. Upon opening the shop, the player will be greeted by a yellow-purple gradient bar titled with "Egg, Inc. ULTRA" and an ULTRA icon after the words "Egg, Inc." Then, the player may click to subscribe for $3.99 a month (for ULTRA Standard) or $7.99 a month (for ULTRA Pro).
Trivia[]
ULTRA originally went through many name iterations such as 'Yolk Club', 'Contract Club', and 'Prestige Club'. These can be residually found in game files and code, with coops having labels for player such "ccMember": false or events having labels such as "ccOnly": false. The 'cc' presumably stands for 'Contract Club'. Further details can be found in the developers announcement article.
