Would this game work if it involved something other than chickens, eggs, and bocks? Like, what if it were cows or like vineyards, do you think the game would be enjoyable still? How much of the appeal of this game is due to it involving eggs?
Good times at the Wiki!
Taken from the Wiki page...
"They function as an extra multiplier of your current Soul Eggs, increasing their multiplier by 5% per Egg of Prophecy. They are referred to as 'rare Soul Eggs' in the explanation message. The Epic Research 'Prophecy Bonus' raises the bonus gained by 1% compounding. Since they compound, their multiplier starts growing very quickly once the quantity builds up."
As for the contracts, you can post names of coops on the "Recruitment Page", or do what everyone else does and join the unofficial Discord
Do you get the little red 'consume' button and it still doesn't let you recycle, or do you not even get the red button?
😂 and I rest my case
Have any thoughts on the questions in the original post, they were intended for People who play the game
I would like something like this to be in existence, but the devs probably don't want launching ships to be 'easy'.
At least everytime you prestige, you get more soul eggs
Like, don't mind Carl, you could probably post the pics to this thread.
Oh, Hi Dreampenguin!
How are you?
You see, the above is a question that a human would ask another human, I can assure you that I am literally and genuinely interested in the answer to the question.
However, it's a question that I wouldn't ask Carl, because Carl isn't human.
So, sorry I confused you Dreampenguin, I did not mean to. But I was attempting to maybe liven the board up a little with some speculative conversation starter questions, and it's really annoying when a robot completely derails the intended direction of the discussion by posting a pre-programmed response based on keywords from my post.
See, there are four replies to my original post here, that's pretty good, but all of them are off topic. I mean, you know what I meant by my original post, right, Dreampenguin? Am I literally trying to find out if the game will "work" with something other than chickens?
Look, Dreampenguin, you're a pretty awesome person, I can tell that you put a lot of work into this Wiki, and I know I'll enjoy posting to this board as long as you allow me to and you participate in the discussions as well. But, with my post telling Carl to email the devs, I was Not suggesting that you program the wiki to automatically send an email to the devs, smh, I was suggesting that Carl not bug up my posts with its processes and not attempt to be human, and to go compute its data somewhere other than my speculative posts intended to be speculated upon by organisms capable of speculation...if that makes sense
As for this, "...The developer didn't even send me a courtesy e-mail when he decided to start linking to the wiki from inside the game..." That's not surprising, they probably didn't send you a courtesy email when they 'unleashed' Carl for similar reasons. Good thing you don't work for them 😉, they'd probably be crappy employers.
But, there's a chance you still might not believe me, so I'll now attempt to prove it...
Hey, IdleCarl, could you help me???
Would a dozen Dilithium eggs be more or less bocks than a halfdozen Quantum and 6 trillion Edible eggs?
Did you even read my posts
You know IdleCarl, you could probably email the devs about it too...you know, if it was programmed into your code.
Could you provide more information, for example, what are you trying to accomplish with the picture you send?
True, but I'm sorry my curiosity exploded with this. I mean, there are what, like tens of thousands of games that a person could download to their phone, and personally I'll have like 10 games on it at any given point in time, even though I might only play 2 or 3 on a regular basis. Yet, this person at this point in time in their life claims to only play One game on their phone, and it's like, that's peculiar, like, why? Not to mention, not only does this person play only one game, but what are the odds that the one game they play is Egg, Inc. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's a good game, but could there even be such a thing as a GOAT game that would make playing any other game, I guess, boring.
I don't know, I live sort of a secluded life so maybe I'm not 'in the know' as much as I thought. But I mean, there are so many games, why play only one?
Essentially, the mobile site I had was missing the, "Add a Comment about Recruitment Page" button. However when I clicked the "view full site" button at the bottom, the layout of the page changed and the button appeared. So I don't know if linking to a forum here would be beneficial, I lack knowledge of these particular technical workings, but I was able to see the comments when I was on the Recruitment Page.
Either way, I know that I only play the game on my phone, and the only reason I made my way to this Wiki was because the developers put a link to it in the 'Help' section of egg, inc. So I'd say there's a possibility that a decent amount of mobile phone players may start coming across this forum.
I don't have any experience with this egg, but I'd say go for it! You can't make an omelette without cracking a few eggs
I too was wondering about buffs. My assumption was that they are something that can be activated in the artifact hall on a contract farm after being collected by spaceships or crafted from ingredients.
As for the photo of the contract rewards, it's a little blurry, but it looks like something really good so I'd go for it if I were you 😉
Well, I gotta say IdleCarl, you've been incredibly helpful. Wouldn't you know it, I have been looking at the 'Mobile site', which doesn't have the comments enabled. Had to scroll to the very bottom of the page to switch to the 'full site'. Seriously though, who scrolls down to the very bottom of a webpage? Not to mention this current page, as far as I can tell, is working fine.
Regardless, maybe I'll see you in a coop sometime.
Also, if your Habs are full, no chickens will spawn and the meter won't move.
As for the 'Hatcheries', there are two types, regular and 'internal'. The regular one is connected to the button you press, whereas the internal are directly influenced by research and are ongoing regardless of a button being pressed or not.
This is important to know when it comes to boosts due to the 'infinite hatchery' boost resulting in far fewer chickens being hatched when compared to the tachyon prisms, which are internal hatchery boosts.
Why is this the only game you play on your phone?
Yeah, I should've been more specific, like on this page there's a little circle with a plus sign in it that allows a person to make a post, or they can reply to a post by merely tapping in the box at the bottom. However, when I am on the 'recruitment page' the only thing I have available is the pencil icon that would allow me to edit the page.
Like, I can't even figure out how I would physically post a comment in the comments section of the recruitment page.
If that makes sense
It's these guys...
The images of rare / epic / legendary Artifacts are the same as the usual images but with blue / purple / yellow shimmering light surrounding the item.
